This may sound strange, but I bought this for my cat, 18 year old, overweight,. is having trouble jumping on my bed and refused to use a passage of any type, so I thought this might work at the foot of my bed and provide some storage space at the same time. couldn't be more perfect for what I needed. very sturdy, holds 2 quilts and a couple of small cushions and the material that covers it is very good for traction. very well done and loves using
